Charley No Face's debut EP The Green Man is a great representation of their progressive song writing capabilities and memorable vocal hooks. Both Gatekeeper and Endless Dream are straight up, no-nonsense rock songs that explore themes of living in a post-utopian digital age. Eerie space echo vocals and indulgent guitar arrangements make for two very memorable first singles. Prism is a shining example of the band’s capability of delving into heavier drone metal tones while still delivering catchy vocal harmonies. And of course, a high energy shift into hallucinatory overdrive with a 12 string guitar solo to finish things off.

Non traditional arrangements and changes to new parts in songs without returning mimic the mentality of the band “no face, no rules.” Charley No Face are an important new psych rock outfit sure to turn heads and melt faces with their debut full length album set to be released in Spring of 2020.
